Welcome to Belmont World Film's 18th Annual Family Festival, Virtual Edition

Travel the world with your children—without leaving home during Martin Luther King weekend and beyond—by enjoying some of the most exciting international films for children age 3-12, in English and multiple languages with subtitles. Many are best on children's best-loved children's books.

Important Information: Please Read Before Purchasing

  • Most films are available to the entire US, although some are limited to viewing in New England or Massachusetts (check individual films before buying a pass to make sure the films you want to see are available in your area)

  • All but three film programs (Fahim, the Little Chess Prince, Forward, and Hungry Bear Tales) will be available for streaming for the full 10 days, from Friday, January 15 @ 10 AM to Sunday, January 24 at 7 PM (Consult the schedule for the other screening windows).

  • Once you start a film, you will have 48 hours in which to finish it. You may watch a film as many times as you'd like during the 48 hour window.

  • The only other timed events are the workshops and the Q&As with filmmakers.

  • Sign up for the workshops in advance. Space is limited, especially for the Junior Film Critics Workshop. We suggest that you sign up for the Aardman Animation workshops as early as possible n order to have enough time to purchase clay supplies.

  • Workshops are open to everyone, but even if you have a Full Festival Pass, you still need to sign up for workshops in advance.

  • You can connect your laptop or standalone computer to your TV to approximate a cinema experience. For advice on how to do that, click on "Help" in the upper right hand corner of Eventive's web page.

  • The schedule is subject to change, so please check our Facebook page for the latest updates.
